Cancellation Policy
Please provide two business days' notice to cancel a session without incurring a fee.
Missed sessions, or sessions cancelled with less than two full business days’ notice, must be paid in full by you, regardless of the reason (emergency, bad weather, sickness, etc.). Business days are defined as Monday through Friday. Holidays and weekends are not business days.
As an example, a 4pm Monday session must be cancelled by 4pm on Thursday of the week prior. The Monday of a long weekend is not a business day, thus, a 4pm Tuesday appointment following a long weekend must also be cancelled by 4pm on Thursday of the week prior. Missed appointments are recorded as “missed appointments” on receipts for extended medical insurance plans.
We are happy to offer remote sessions (phone or video) to assist you in navigating unforeseen problems, like sickness, that might prevent you from attending an in-person appointment. Please let our therapist know at your earliest convenience if you need to switch from an in-person to a remote session so that they can ensure that you are set up for the right type of appointment.
